A company called "Level 10" offers upgraded transmission components that not only make it stronger, but decrease the drivetrain loss and make it more on par with a manual.

As for the performance increases with a LS blower... consider this: Let's be conservative and say that you only get 20 more HP to the wheels. You would have this power EVERY time you wanted it, with no ill effects on fuel economy. This is a bargain for only $1600.00

Void your warranty with a JRSC? I don't know about that. I don't know if it is a state law, but I've heard that atleast in CA, dealers cannot legally void your warranty for installing aftermarket parts. Of course. . . there is the off chance that I could be TOTALLY wrong about this.

Good thing my car is a '95, and the only warranty still good on my car is the one covering the blower! 100,000 miles or 2 years!

I've been toying with the idea of the Venom 400 module or something similiar in a computer enhancement or upgrade. Considering I only here these units are good for a little more noticable power in the low RPM band and automatics seem to get more from this unit. All the bad things I hear from this unit is from manuals, gsr's and vtec engines alike.

True. Just because you install an aftermarket part that doesn't mean your warranty is voided, however, there are some parts that WILL void your warranty.

I've been thinking alot about the supercharger (JRSC) I was going to buy. I have $1600 saved and a person with a used one for that price.

My car is 99 auto LS, yes I know all about the autos being slow but know alot that are very happy with the JRSC on a auto teg. I'm starting to think that it's not worth it though. My car has 27k miles and is due for a 30k tune up soon and is still under warranty. The JRSC will void that, and if something goes wrong I'm screwd, and I keep hearing the power gain is just not worth the huge chunk of change.

I've been having thoughts of just buying all looks stuff like rims and stupid shit to make the car look nice since hope for making it go zoom zoom is dwindling....

    Anyone have any insight?

P.S. before anyone even suggests these, LS/VTEC or manual swapping, it's not an option so please I don't need replies like that, I get them all the time.

I would probably consider a small turbo like a greddy or something to that affect. Autos aren't really that bad as many people think. I have been in a turbo'd auto ls that would make your head spin. Just don't get to radical with the boost to keep your tranny in one piece. That's just a thought though.

On the warranty issue, I'm sure your conversation with the dealer would go something like this:

    Owner:My tranny is messed up

Dealer:Sorry, warranty is void cause of JRSC. (Or whatever reason they think of.)

Owner:But JRSC shouldn't void the tranny.

    Dealer:Sorry, but it does.

Owner:Under law, you're supposed to prove that it does.

Dealer:Have your lawyer call our lawyer and let them settle who's at fault.

How many people can afford a lawyer, let alone, a lawyer that can outsmart an Acura/Honda paid lawyer?

    My point spoken....

with that said I've heard alot of mixed things about the Venom 400 module and the similiar Jet V-Force modules..... If I'm looking for more "pep" in the car are these things worth the money (considering I now have a $600 budget... $1000 would goto rims and wheels)

Or course I still have a JRSC bug in me that won't quite die out... but it's looking hopeless even though I CAN get my hands on one for the money I have... I have no faith in warranty or installing it anymore :P
